Intake Coordinator

The First Tennessee Development District Area Agency on Aging and Disability is accepting applications for a Full Time Intake Coordinator. Duties include screening, assessing, in-home visits, completing necessary paperwork for contracted programs, and providing outreach and education about long term care options. Experience in nursing assessment and compiling/submitting Pre-Admission Evaluations required. Experience in public speaking, planning and conducting training a plus. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers, One Drive, and Microsoft Office products. Registered Nurse or Licensed Bachelor Social Work in the State of TN with a minimum of two years’ experience in the medical field required. The bi-weekly salary is $1,680.92.

Intake & Screening Assistant

The First Tennessee Development District Area Agency on Aging and Disability is accepting applications for a Full Time Intake and Screening Assistant.  Major responsibilities include phone screenings, scheduling in-home visits, data entry, assistance in the preparing and maintaining records, and reporting. Proficiency in usage of personal computers, Microsoft Office products, One Drive and other appropriate software. Education equivalent to graduation from a standard high school. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a professional office environment.  Background in the medical or social service setting helpful. The bi-weekly salary is $1,382.80.

Public Conservator Support Assistant

The First Tennessee Development District Area Agency on Aging & Disability is accepting applications for a part time Public Conservator Support Assistant (28 hours per week).   Duties include making monthly visits to clients who reside in long-term care facilities, shopping for clients on an as needed basis, compiling data and completing reports in a timely manner, keeping current information on each client with updates as needed, recruiting, training and maintaining volunteers for the program.   Two years of college or two years of work experience in aging, social services or related fields. Two years working experience in a professional office environment.   Proficiency in usage of personal computers and appropriate software, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and possess good organizational and record keeping abilities. Experience in bookkeeping is a plus. The bi-weekly salary for this part-time position is $1,033.
