Title I WIOA Business Satisfaction Survey

Introduction

In 2022, the First Tennessee Development District assumed both fiscal and board staff responsibilities for the Northeast Tennessee region’s Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) programs. WIOA consists of four (4) partner programs: Workforce Services, Adult Education, Wagner-Peyser, and Vocational Rehabilitation. Under Workforce Services, Title I WIOA targets youth, adults and dislocated workers and provides education, training, and employment services based on eligibility assessments.

Title I WIOA services are implemented in partnership with businesses/employers whose facilities are referred to as Worksites. The perception of these partners about Title I WIOA services are key to service delivery hence the importance of this perception/satisfaction survey. The results of the survey will serve two main purposes; continue to strengthen Title I WIOA services and serve as a knowledge product in outreach and marketing.

This survey is intended to gauge the satisfaction of Title I WIOA Worksite partners. The Likert scale[1] is used for most of the main questions and contains 5 response options that will consist of two extreme sides and a neutral option in the middle. The scale is: 1) Very Satisfied, 2) Satisfied, 3) Neutral, 4) Dissatisfied, and 5) Very Dissatisfied.

Note: Please provide additional information in the space below each question if response is either 4) Dissatisfied or 5) Very dissatisfied.

[1] A Likert scale is a psychometric scale used in surveys to gauge the opinions, attitudes, satisfaction of people about products, services etc. It was devised by Rensis Likert, a highly influential social psychologist in 1932.
