Total Housing Units

U.S. Census Bureau, American Community Survey (ACS) 5-Year Estimates, 2019–2023. Total housing units include both occupied and vacant units. Estimates are rounded to the nearest hundred. Rural counties (Hancock, Unicoi, Johnson) have fewer housing units due to lower population density, while urbanized counties (Sullivan, Washington) have the highest number of housing units.
