The First Tennessee Development District is excited to announce the return of CareerQuest Tennessee, an interactive career exploration event for the region's students. CareerQuest or CQTN brings upwards of 4,000 students from area middle and high schools together to see firsthand the exciting and high paying jobs available in Northeast Tennessee.
The two-day event, slated for April 28th & 29th, will not only bring together students, but also many local employers and hundreds of volunteers . In the past this has included Summers Taylor, Norwell, Bell Helicopter, AO Smith, BrightRidge, TVA, Ballad Health, and Frontier Health. These employers, and many others represent the four largest and fastest growing sectors of employment in the region and encompass Construction, IT, Advanced Manufacturing, and Healthcare industries.
This event would not be possible without the support of donors such as AB&T, AO Smith, Ballad Health, Carter County Tomorrow, TVA, and UT Center for Industrial Services.
