FTDD Hosts 59th Annual Board Meeting

We held our 59th Annual Board Meeting on November 13, 2025, at the beautiful Farm at Grace Meadows.


Department Directors shared updates highlighting many of the projects, partnerships, and accomplishments achieved throughout the past year. The event celebrated the collaboration and progress that continue to strengthen communities across Northeast Tennessee.


During the meeting, Mayor Mark DeWitte of Hawkins County was recognized for his outstanding leadership and service as Board Chair. He was presented with a plaque in appreciation of his commitment and contributions to the District.


Board officers for Fiscal Year 2026 were also approved. Congratulations to our newly selected leaders:


  • Mayor Cal Doty, Town of Greeneville – Chair

  • Mayor Larry Potter, Johnson County – Vice-Chair

  • Mayor Bill Carter, City of Elizabethton – Treasurer



The District extends sincere thanks to all Board members and community partners for their continued leadership and dedication to the region. Here’s to another year of growth and partnership across Northeast Tennessee!
